Where do you live? There are loads all over. Staying out for that long is extreme

A guy passed me yesterday in a beautiful brand new Audi Q5. I'd sure like to have one of those!

From what I've read on this forum over the years, you just need to run short haul van out of southern Oregon or flatbed out of Connecticut short haul, and you'll need a pup trailer to put the money in.

I actually scored my first contract jobs this summer and what Im getting paid will carry me into spring time and beyond . I see the spot rates went crazy but even those numbers cant match the contract rates Im receving . Pulling Van out of TX and Im thankful , I have more than enough to pay truck off free and clear . Feeling blessed.

Just a FWI, I got some van rates going from TN to Maine last week. We don’t run van and had a customer wanting some van loads moved. I checked everywhere, and the rates are running right at $5.00, charge to the customer.

    Brettj3876 Thanks this.

That’s about right, there’s not a lot coming out of Maine that pays anything.
