Yeah well, if you’re looking for a new flatbed, look at manac; n then keep on looking.

I was told that when searching for the trailer I have now. Apparently manac is ok for full loads but suck for concentrated loads like single coils. I also heard the floors are a huge problem as the rear of them always comes loose and pop up. I thought maybe that was fixed by now, but I guess not. o_O

    Yea, i can.
Overall I’d say the quality control is lacking.
This unit the door hinges they use for the airbox have been an issue since new. I bought this trailer December 30 last year off the lot. I went and actually hooked it prolly april? This morning the door to that airbox vibrated itself off and could’ve easily wiped out two of my trailer tires based on the marks on the sidewalls.
Several of the welds on the rear plate don’t match left to right.
This trailer is galvanized, but there are several marks on the frame where clearly it was spray painting with a gray paint Where it must not have “taken”.

separately, and I wasn’t gonna make this public: I custom ordered a new one February 2. It showed up 10 days ago. At the moment, the plan is to have it returned to the manufacturer for a half dozen issues. About half of which are mistakes made because no one read the spec sheet apparently. several other issues are bc apparently people dont read tape measures at their facility either.
Several other issues they’ve declined to fix.

I can’t speak to either of those issues.

No need to. Your previous post was more than enough to keep me away. I appreciate the honest review. Reitenour isn't perfect, but its a darn sight better than that.

Never pulled one, have seen them a lot. Most of them looked very used. Heavy rust on them. Had been told they have great quality, sounds like that’s not true. How do they compare to Fontaine in price?
I have a bit of a soft spot for East and Western Trailer brands.

Man that seems like the common theme with everything now. Half assed work by everyone involved. A shame really .

Last company i pulled for, ordered all brand new east trailers last year, sent over half of them back to the factory with problems similar to what @Ruthless described. Lots of shotty welds , many measurements off, not correctly spec'd/ etc....
