I have a 2013 Peterbilt 389 605hp 2050tq Cummins. When I let the clutch out and am in first gear, the gear shifter wants to move to the passenger side of the truck while in that gear. It is the only gear that it does this in. I have a little vibration as well. Just don’t know what it could be.

I just did motor mounts, but I will check the transmission mounts and fluid levels

Well, I looked at the rear motor mount and I already broke one. I don’t have 10k miles on them. So I’m sure that is my issue. But now I have to figure out why I broke another one. I know new parts fail, but dang.

2 bolt style mount or 4? If its the two drill them out and run 3/4 bolts and nuts through them.
Goodysnap, spsauerland, 650cat425 and 2 others Thank this. -
Two bolt style that mount the motor to the mount. Thank you for the idea @pushbroom
650cat425 Thanks this. -
There is an update out to upgrade it to 4 bolt mounts and that is what all the new trucks come with. Parts are a bit pricey tho. Local dealer should be able to look up the conversion or I can but honestly i'd just drill em out.Goodysnap, spsauerland, magoo68 and 1 other person Thank this. -
