Former driver of mine drives for Legend now, he has stated they have a way of fixing his drive logs, doesn't know how they do it, but he's been given time back.

Cascadias (both the Classic and the new ones)have collision avoidance technology but I think its a customer option. And even then the system isn’t foolproof,if any debris (dirt, grit, snow, etc.) obstructs the radar housing in the front bumper the system can actually be disabled, which would in turn also disengage the cruise control. Plus, the system can also give false alarms, slamming the brakes on when there isn’t anything in front of the truck ,especially if you’re approaching an underpass (bridge,tunnel-especially with reflective signs mounted overhead).

Probably why Legend only has 2 1/2 stars om n their reviews. That's probably way too generous.

After this wreck reviews will be the least of their worries.

    Let’s look at the “scorecard”:
    1 confirmed fatality
    3 injuries
At least 10 other vehicles damaged or destroyed

And the “sharks” (I mean lawyers) are just salivating at the glands just to take the case of one of the plaintiffs!!

that is true about something obstructing the system. on my '19 camry, the grille emblem, has the radar just behind it. then the forward facing camera, is mounted high in the windshield, where the rear view mirror is.

if that grille emblem gets snow/ice on it, and mine has this past winter, then i get a warning, it is not operable.

they, the windshield and the emblem NEED to be clean at all times, from a pile up of snow, mud, etc.

I've been told about an ELD supplier that has support based in Ukraine who will remotely edit logs (including line 3).

I have not done anything to further investigate or tried to even verify the story. But i've now heard that same thing from a few different drivers and am getting curious after you guys mentioning something similar.
