Some the high 200 series and all the 300 series 680s numbers have that stupid box on the bumper that hits the brakes if ya get to close to something.
I've heard they are set at 70 mph but after having run with one of them I know they won't pull a greased string out of a cats arse .IH Truck Guy, Panhandle flash, MACK E-6 and 2 others Thank this. -

Panhandle flash, Shock Therapy and bzinger Thank this. -
I remember thinking why are they screwing with a guy that is happy to go across the GW. Another truism is that companies that treat drivers like their a dime a dozen usually have five cents worth of drivers.
Speed_Drums, Panhandle flash, Shock Therapy and 3 others Thank this. -
I wasn't raving mad but knew I had better get looking for a job quik if my finances were to be salvaged and when I got parked the hunt was on .
Funny how that worked lol.
I've known randy Williams for years but never worked for him ( Williams transportation) and we talked the first day of the camp out and he thought Morehouse would be a better fit for me based on where I like to run .
By day 2 I was approved at Morehouse and told greater o goodbye in 2 weeks ...they wernt concerned lol and loaded me back to omaha on day 3 in which they wouldn't answer the qcomm or return my calls regarding my inbound load to sparten nash in omaha so I took the trailer to sparten nash and dropped it ...bobtailed home and cleaned out the truck .
That night one of the geniusses at greater o call me wanting to know where I was going , told him I'd have the truck there in the morning along with the fuel card and hung up .
Next morning I did just that and Morehouse picked my up in a company pick up ...honked and waved as we drove away .
Ironically the first 2 years I was here I ran the heck out of California and hauled alot of loads for randy Williams out of Cali....i quit California a year ago this month and started running east again .
The Williams folks are about all I miss about California and I'm home more for the same money .
The end .Knucklehead, Speed_Drums, Dale thompson and 4 others Thank this.
