Gonna put a 115 Suzuki on it. 6 year parts and labor warranty. He doesn't need the 150. He was using to pull with but bought another nautique comp boat so it's just for putting around now.

Yes it does. I have I think 30 gallon or so sitting around here. I should put it in this other truck before I tear it apart and let it run for awhile.

First oil change on shaffer I was freaking out, every hard pull i had more smoke coming out the blowby than the stacks it seemed. Called shaffer bout ready to rip them a new one. One of their engineers started laughing and reassured me thats normal on the first couple of oil change cycles. Sure enough after the second change smoke disappeared. Pulled a valve cover and that black carbon residue you get was gone ! Clean as could be !

I'm going home, screw it change oil tommorow. Went and grabbed some airfilters for comp. Came back and realized I'd locked my keys in the shop. Just by luck I left the back door open. Ever see a 58 yr old truck driver scaling a wooden fence ??.......it wasn't pretty !!

Same with there fuel treat. I tell everyone I recommend it to ....make sure you keep filters in the truck and change them often till you get it cleaned up.

I think there oil in a stock new motor would be great....it just doesn't work well in my application. I've run mobile 1 in my cars and pickups for forty plus years.

Were y'all running this in 5w40 or 15w40? Or one of them 30 weights they offer.?
You see any benefit of maybe running a round of it through an old dirty Detroit for one OCI to clean it up a bit.? Or just stick to what I'm doing..

Mine hates Shell, will guzzle 2 gals in 10k. OTR syn blend or Delvac 1300 she drinks bout half a gal every 10k so never needs any add between services..
