Did u like doing stone loads ? I enjoy doing them , sure beats regular freight. Just wish it paid a little more so i wouldnt have to book other loads just to make it worth it... tears up the equipment pretty bad too. But all in all i have learned alot and is cool seeing what the contractors build with the rocks

I grew up in the rock business, my farther is still doing sales and driving a dump truck in retirement. We hauled our own products so I got used to it. I started working in the yard at 16 and worked more or less full time year round, even during school. Once I got my license through them and started to drive I was ready to move on quick. At the time I was making $12.36 driving a semi. The loads don’t pay well, even if you’re working for the shipper.
