:biggrin_25512: I heard that phrase a long time ago... my dad got him a "mail-order-bride" a few years after him and mom divorced.

I came in to visit one day, and he said "I want you to meet your new mom"... the hell with that. He should be lucky that a "bride" was the only thing he ended up getting with that deal. :biggrin_2556:

Any leather neck, squid, or soldier that had ever been through SE/A would know it... Or they are lying :) "Oh, no mama I never saw any of those types of girls. But I always was at the USO station or in church"

my daughter got a new dad. LITERALLY. (i was never allowed to know where she lived) and all that other fun crap.

my son has his moments with his mom but he's still waiting for a new mom. sucks to be him cuz i don't see it happening in this life time.

    That sucks.
Yeh, my dad was married two weeks before I new anything about it. That's been 13 years ago... You think he would have mentioned on the phone before I showed up.

I been divorced twice myself. I left the first one because of the way I was treated, and the second one walked out on me because he "didn't think married life was for him." I have a son(8 ) from the first marriage, and a daughter(2) from the second. They both took up with Eskimo right away. My daughter calls him her "ruck driving daddy." He pays more attention to her than her biological father does.

That sucks that you weren't allowed to know where she lived. My divorce papers state that addresses where the child resides/has visitation must be known by both parties.

Sounds like you were on the ball leaving the first, dropped it a bit picking the second, and third times the charm. LOL

Didn't think he liked the bed he was laying in... so instead of fixing the bed he just takes a stroll? Hell, even I'm not that much of a moronic #######.

I never did understand why everyone uninvolved in a marriage, gets so emotionally worked up about it. My sister recently married for the first time and her twenty something daughter is all pissed about it. Hell one lives in MI the other in NJ and it makes no sense to me why you would carry on a pissing match long distance like that.

:biggrin_2556:yeppers... the second one went to work one day, then didn't come home. He changed the pin#s on the bank accounts, and since it was a credit union--he could drop me off the account completely without my sig. I found out he was running around on me with some fluzzies he met on myspace... then had the gall to ask me to take him back last year. :biggrin_2559: he was so dreaming.

    :yes2557:I gots a keeper now.
