No. It crossed my mind though. Just normal Atlanta 285 highway trash hitching a ride. Pretty common to see plastic bags and what not caught up on trucks and cars but a hair piece is a new one for me.

I wound up buying an otr reset tool and a spare outlet nox sensor. I've used the reset tool once and it worked to turn off the aftertreatment mil, haven't tried it to reset a derate yet. Having a spare outlet sensor has saved me in the past to truck another 1800 miles till I could get home and fix the problem

I think it is that Freightliners are a popular truck and owners are not keeping extras on hand. If I were owning I would have 2 on the truck in storage. That way I could install one and be on the lookout for a refill at my leisure. As opposed to the pandamonia that Dave is having for headaches. Tho the OM has probably declared he doesnt have the money for such frivolities.
And with that. Good night all.austinmike, LoSt_AgAiN, Rideandrepair and 4 others Thank this. -
It's due to the covid-19. People are using Def for the masks.

Typically the DEF filter is changed every 250K miles. And it's tiny. It would be mooshed riding around in the truck for 2 years.
The one that's on here now is probably the original one at 380K miles.
They're expensive too. Like $90.LoSt_AgAiN, thelushlarry, Cattleman84 and 7 others Thank this. -

Well for more context i decided to look out the window, after hearing this annoying sound for a good 15 minutes, and to my surprise (or lack thereof) it was cr england doing a 90 degree alley dock in a wide open parking lot, with 40 or more acres in front of him to get straight. Ultimatley he failed and left the truckstop.austinmike, LoSt_AgAiN, Opus and 10 others Thank this.
