Hi,Driver,my front gear box is spitting oil out from breather hole,I am losing 2 quart of oil every 12thousand miles,Can any driver help me with this problem, thanks,5k driver,

Strange! Could you possibly have air going into the axle housing from the interaxle lock air piston?

I've had it happen 1 time on a new Truck.. Somehow a plastic thread protector cap was left in the hole that the breather threads into..when the gear oil got hot it pushed oil through the breather..

Remove the axle breather. Chalk the wheels and have the engine running brakes released. Everything like you are going down the road except in neutral. Is air being slowly pushed out the vent hole? No air no problem.5K trucker and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
