Lol yeah. Just been busy juggling work, prepping my land, trying to pack up old house, and trying get all my ducks in a roll for my new house. I hope by end of the year things will have gotten back to normal. As for trucking been knocking out 3 or 4 Troy’s a week. We have 10 loads a week. So I’ve almost got my truck taught how to drive itself back and fourth.
to all end dump haulers...

I faired the storm fine, stayed east of it coming down through GA then stayed down here running local work for the rest of the week. Unfortunately while unloading in BFE yesterday, I stepped squarely in to a fire ant pile unknowingly due to the overgrown grass, they’re sneaky little pests, before I even knew they were on me the damage was already done. Is 2020 over yet!!!!

Spent the day again getting some fertilizer down south, when I say the boonies this one takes the cake for me so far. 12 miles off the hard road, 2 hours from the time I left the hard road, dumped, and popped back out on the hard road. This is a part of Florida where real cowboys still exist, they’re referred to as “crackers” down there, quite an interesting way of life with most of the hands living on the ranch in true to history old Florida cracker housing. Preloading Metal tomorrow then calling it a week, safe travels.

Hope everyone’s weekend is off to a good start. @Trashtrucker1707 I’m glad you didn’t get “Deliverance’d” out there in the middle of nowhere. My Friday was busy apparently a construction company we do a lot of work with had a house going up in Paola KS and whilst putting in the septic they hit rock and lots of it. The system was supposed to be inspected that afternoon so it was a mad dash to get sand to them and a few guys grabbed barrel trailers for dirt so they could switch it over to some kind of fancy filtration system. So me and like 5 guys just ran sand from KCK down to Paola all day. Easy. Especially since the dump spot was made for my trailer. Everyone was griping it was leaning them to the left. It was my trailers time to shine! It’s the straightest it went up ever. Still no official solution to the lean. And excuse the bug guts.

I’m sitting in Pensacola already, they were down most of last week because of the storm so I assume it will be a mad rush of trucks for the next few days, even with as early as I am there’s still 2 of our trucks in front of me. I work this week and then I’m off the following, my folks are coming in from Texas, and my sister from Nashville. Looking forward to some much needed downtime. On a side note, I had to give moto a break about a year ago because of a nasty shoulder injury, so I picked up skating again, it’s funny how hobbies get super expensive the older you get, guess I’m spoiling myself to the things we couldn’t afford when I was a kid.

Nothing exciting to report other than the ol’ truck finally got a bath, almost as sharp as @NightWind now .

Well, to answer my own question, the topsoil didn’t come out for crap. I shoveled some out, the rest this heavy melt scrap I’m loading for Monday should take care of.
