BoDarville01 get to the truckstop earlier? You know most of us can't plan our trips that way, it just doesn't work. Of course according to NATSO that's why there's a parking problem in the first place... cause WE don't plan our trips to be in a truckstop when there is still plenty of parking. In other words everyone shut down at 4pm!

This thread is about drivers who speed thru the lot for no reason whatsoever other than they think they're trying to impress someone(which they're not) and if they don't stop this crap, someone is going to get hurt or even worse could get killed.

I would be amazed if someone came on here and actually admitted that they did it.

think i even started another thread just about this. Courtesy, self pride and the like. Do i ALWAYS stop for someone to back out? no. I'm i one of the 'steering wheel holders' who parks in a fuel island, goes in to shower, grab a bite to eat and refinance my house? No. I give myself 5-10 minutes TOPS to park at the payline. If i THINK i'm going to take longer, i go find a parking spot. Yes, i can back.

but please dont put words into my mouth. show me once where i said lugnut covers and what not were stupid? you take pride in your ride....great. but you know just as i do, that most (if not all) deck out their rides with so much chrome you get a sunburn when you get passed by a rolling mirror, that is screamin' "LOOK AT ME, FOO !!!!!"

and why do stick-jockeys think just cause they have a $1,000 radio they have to crank up their talkback to make it sound like they're talking out of a 50gal oil drum?? If i have to put effort into decoding what you're saying, then it isnt worth hearing. thats why i usually leave my CB off until i start seeing a traffic backup a mile or so ahead.

Well let's go back and look...

I believe this is where I got that silly notion.

I don't think that's true at all. Most of the guys that I hang with and run with that chrome up the truck are just like me and my thing is that "I" like the way my truck looks with all of the chrome and lights. I couldn't care less what anyone thinks of it 'cause I do it for me.

Since you are so fond of dime store/drivers seat psychology then lets look at my version...I think that the reason that it upsets you so much when you see a nice shiny chromed out ride with a bunch of lights is 'cause you're probably too low rent to afford to get your own...Probably jealous!

First of all let's understand what we're talking about...

TALKBACK: Simply allows you to hear what the radio sounds like so that you can adjust you sound accordingly. It does not change the way the radio sounds in any way.
ECHO: Gives an echo effect to the modulation and can be and often is way overdone. It is adjustable and when used properly actually helps the voice sound cleaner. Most guys have way too much echo and are hard to understand.

$1,000 for a radio is a little extreme, I've had some pretty big radios over the years but I don't think I ever had more than $400 invested.

Well how about that! On this we can agree. If you're some clown with way too much echo and I can't figure out what you're trying to tell me I will just go into ignore mode.

All I will say about that is, By the time you can see the backup it's usually too late to get around it! I leave my radio on at all times when the truck is rolling although sometimes it's turned down to where I can just barely hear it.

both are at fault, but tell me, at what point was it stupid for the driver behind to not look to change lanes and get around? the guy behind was just trying to be an a-hole and someone called him out on it. if a driver is only going 63 or whatever, and isnt going faster the whole time you're behind him, and you want to be supertrucker, and go 88 miles an hour with a flux capacitor, then get yo ### around him, and quit being a RICHARD.

    its pretty simple.

Because some driver's are solar powered!

    Your not showing it!

And you want to call yourself a truck driver?

seems like BoDarville01 is defending the parking lot speeders... So he must be one of them.
