I don't know why you think I have a poor business plan. I haven't given a description of it anywhere in this forum. No, I've been planning this out for some time. It isn't perfect as nothing is and yes there would be risk involved as there always is. I am contemplating your suggestion though to get a regular company gig for a bit longer and save up more to be in a better starting position. It is a good idea I'm not saying it isn't just getting impatient I guess.

You pointing out that you have $15,000 for a truck (hoping it goes the month without issue) $15,000 for a house and $5,000 in savings is enough evidence to deduce that it is a horrid plan. On top of that, believing a bank or dealer would even consider you for a loan while being unemployed for 4 months. This is a horrible foundation for a business plan. You planning this out for some time is not making it any better. We wouldn't be saying any of this if we didn't care. Go outside of the forum and present your plan to other business people that manage capital as well and they will tell you the same thing. Anyone else telling you different is just blowing smoke.

Leaving the perjoratives out ie: Horrible/horrid (unnecessary, imo); you were asking around about rates today or yesterday. Come on, man. You have a business plan but don't know your projected revenue yet? Asking for other people to look at paid boards for you?

Very gently, you need to separate what you need and are capable of right now with what you want in the future, and focus on the first. That's a steady company job to get the stability and ability to plan rationally back.

Horrid? It's definitely not the best plan but horrid? There are people who do this with nothing and finance everything and do just fine. I'm sure it's rare but it does happen.

The numbers on cash were just that, the numbers on how much cash I have. Just part of the plan, but I understand where you coming from though.

The finance a house plan/scenario would involve me getting a company position and then applying for a loan. Yes, I've been unemployed for some time but I was employed before that for many years.

I tend to believe what you're saying as I do not think a bank would want to give me a loan until I've been working for some time either but the mortgage broker said since I have had a stable work history before the current unemployment span it wouldn't be a problem once he could verify current income. I mean I hear what your saying I don't see it happening either, that's just what the mortgage broker said.

One thing I would like to add. There are many naysayers out there saying you gotta have all this and all that and bags of cash and if all your ducks aren't in a row well you'll just fail miserably. This is just not necessarily true. After you hear this enough you just want to throw up your hands. I mean there's got to be a point where you say the hell with it if it flys it flys and if it don't it dont'. Just saying. Not saying I'm at that point yet but will be at some point. I still have a family to support so it's not just me. If I fall by myself it's one thing but with a family quite another.

Thanks again for your input. I appreciate it.

Thank you for leaving those words out I do appreciate that lol. I don't need any more drama.

Oh how it so awfull oh my how can we go on like this I mean good grief. Man I've never seen anything worse. It's just horrid. None of your ducks are in a row.. you don't have this and you don't have that.

    Lots of encouragement lol.

I know it's not the best situation but gimme a break.

Wasn't gonna comment. But here goes. To much with to little. Nice house and used truck ( or any truck) is a large financial bite. Interest, insurance etc gonna put you in a bind is my guess. If you can and do it i wish you and family the best. But you are gonna have to put your nose to the grindstone. In other words work your buns off to make it work.
