It is no problem having kids at home , but when u are talking business u need to be professional and not have screaming babies in the background

So the baby should just be locked in a box under the bed to silence it? Would that be professional enough for you? It's easy to look down your nose when you're not the one wearing the shoes.

    jaguar011 and Tb0n3 Thank this.

Funny, daily people waste my time that appear "professional" with zero background noise.

So day care is shut down. Wife goes into office. Dad works from home and has to take care of baby. No choice. Coronavirus. That's reality right now.

    You need to get it.

Else we do have a nice cheese platter to go with the whine. It even has smoked gouda.

I like you. But this time I feel you're wrong. That broker is trying to get by. It's not a 3+ year old he can set in another room with toys.

He has no choice. Put your self in his shoes.

Maybe it wasn't even a baby crying. It could have been her truck driver husband.

A couple of years ago I helped a friend rebuild his deck. His baby was about a year old and colicy - she was in the house with the windows closed, we were outside using power tools and we could clearly hear her cry.

One apartment I lived in you could hear the neighbors as easily as your thoughts.

What bugs me more is hearing talk radio or a tv playing - that they can control.

Or the super trucker ripping his jakes through the parking lot at 3am. Or the POS volvo with the horrendous air leak causing his dryer to sneeze every 90 seconds. We could all go on and on; couldn't we?

i have kids, 5, and they have kids. there is a time and place for kids to be noisy, and playing, and just being kids.

then there is a time when mom or dad MUST HAVE peace and quite, to conduct business. to me, kids need to be told to keep quiet or go to another room, when mommy or daddy or granma or gramps, are trying to talk to someone.

kids NEED to know, to behave at times. it's really not that difficult. but if some parents just let the kids have thier own way all the time, then how effective are the parents in controlling them, and showing respect?

    you want MORE Millennial's afoot...????
