It was covered in there somewhere.
A driver was chatting on his phone or something and got into an accident, and may have been over hours. The article they pointed too just said they were auditing the company info though, which is common practice.
Lawyers all know by now that it does not matter who's fault the accident is (in this case a dead woman) all they care about is money. If they can prove that the truck should not have been there at that time they will win.
It happens all the time with all big company's, it will not push them over the edge.

Jess, Peeved??? Tell me its not so!!!!!! lol
Getting ready to become quite the rebel, I am. Going to ignore this rt sol that the company gave me. It puts me on 2 lane rds thru GA just to hook up with I59 to go w. Screw em, going straight down 75 to 20 -
Plz do your self a favor. Find another company. Run run as far away from central as you can. Go now and dont look back.

Dang, this post moves fast. Ive been following it as I waited for my recruiter to get back with me. He called today and everything looks good so far. Cant say for sure for another couple days but, He says Nov 2 will be my start date if everything checks out. I got my MVR and told em' about all my infractions so no suprises (that got me disqualified from roehl) I am an ex-master mechanic (7yrs) and this is my first driving gig. Im pretty exited!! been wanting to drive since I was a kid and grandpa was a gearjammer. (used to ride around in the freightshaker with him) Well, yall seem like a lively bunch and I hope to see ya out there eventually.

So I have an update...I've been talking to one of my fellow unemployed friends here in CA and he, too, is going into trucking. We're talking about running as a team. Does anyone on here have any experience with Central and teams? We're gunna try to get him down to Riverside next Monday too.
*Oh and I got your PM JW...I can't PM because of my post count...but since you're in Rocklin and Im in Modesto....you'll probably be on the bus about an hour before I am...I'll announce myself when I get on. lol.* -

Team to make the same money as solo the truck has to run twice as many miles. So team to get the pay of a solo driver that gets 2800 miles a week, both you and your partner each will have to run 2800+ miles a week.
I just don't think they would keep you running enough as a team to make it worth it.
The only time team is a good idea is when all the money for both drivers goes into one bank acct each month. IE husband wife teams, boyfriend girlfriend, life partner ect.
Plus if one part of the team is weaker than the other about pulling there miles, the other driver has to make up for it.
Each of you go solo for 6 months. See how your miles are. See if you are both even still driving. If you are at the end of that time, then consider teaming. -
I'll have to talk to him about it today.
Thanks Chrome.
