It’s pretty standard to gross 200k and spend 100k per year not including paying yourself. The people that gross 250k and higher are the ones really getting ahead.

Wow, independent owners are those who are not contractually obligated to haul specific freight.
being leased to a company still makes you independent, because under the laws and regulations you as an owner, you have a choice to take work or not to take work.
the word lease is a legal term, it is used in the regulations that dictate what the two parties obligations are. -
