    I agree with small package.

    scrap.

    it’s not worth it.

    In ontario, if I remember right, it’s a $100,000 fine if a wheel ever comes off to whoever last put it on.

    I could see that being dragged out in court for a long time. Kinda hard to pin that on a mechanic or tire guy if a tire comes off 2 months after they last touched it. Who knows what the owner/driver has monkeyed with in that space of time.

    Maybe the statute of limitations should be 30 days or 500 miles whichever comes first.( at least in the 4 wheeler market) maybe 1500 miles for heavy trucks. A service invoice with accurate mileage would be a must. Might get to the point where a date stamped photo needs to be taken to proove service rendered properly. Who knows.
    They are always gonna try to go after the last one they can “proove” who touched it

    That’s the bad part. The last person they can prove that took that wheel off.
