Same here, I have always kept mine either all the way forward or one notch back from all the way forward. I found pulling heavy reefers keeping it in that position fully loaded you would have around 12200 - 12400 Max on your steers. Pretty much any state will let you roll with up to 400 over on any axle group if you are grossed out at 80k. It made it easier to even out the drives and tandems that way, Plus in the winter time it's nice having a little more weight up front. And, you never have to worry about sliding that #### fifth wheel again LOL

I used to be bad with cab fairings on sharp turns in tight places. I like a little space between tractor and trailer, but guess I gotta avoid doing those whack ### turns to begin with.

Dropped my load in Valley NE from Jackson WI then headed to the Council Bluffs yard for my load to Four Oaks then home I guess (3 days early). No shorter runs in the SE. Might as well go home early.

Just picked up in one of those tight shippers... loaded trailer with no room to make the left turn to get out so I had to drive further in and attempt a U turn... ya, that was probably the closest I’ve gotten to kissing the fairing on the trailer... ugh.

I pickup a load at Broken Bow going to Four Oaks, NC yesterday. But I just might have to stop at the FCC Fremont terminal sometime this morning. There going to look into my Qualcomm; it’s still acting strange.

If I catch up to you maybe we can do a convoy!

Sure is... and my loaded trailer was just about as far to the right in the lot as possible so i couldn’t just pull out, turn left, and cross their scale...

Oh and “due to covid” they won’t let you use their restrooms either.

ya, ya, ya... well, I’m sorry but “due to covid” I’m going to leave you a little present between the trailers too... LOL :D

And I had my 90 day survey the other day...
I guess they are keeping me around... LOL

And dang it... it finally happened, I lost my red lock... pretty sure I didn’t leave it on a trailer. I probably sat it on a bumper or step and forgot it was there.

I picked up a new one while in CB grabbing a shower... I wonder how much these cost... anyone here been charged for a replacement lock?

    Silverdriver Thanks this.
