Same style of job. Hook up to your trailer(s), go somewhere, drop those trailers, hook up to new ones, come back. On a bad night you'll have two stops, but we don't generally have runs like that.

There ARE "heck" runs. One run I've done was four stops then come back to my home terminal. 13.5 hours.

Wish I'd get THAT run again now that I'm at top scale. Lol

At top scale there ARE no bad runs.

In addition to what was said above, it all depends on the type of center. Small extended centers just have runs to the hubs and some customer pickups while larger areas have a greater customer pickup base and extended centers to drop off at. Think the most d&h ive made was 4-5 on a particular route and they were 53’.

My wife is adamant I don't go to feeders... I'm planning on making moves in that direction once I hit top rate on package car. Most of our feeder drivers are either within a few years of retirement, or seasonals. She just doesn't like the schedule, prefers me on the 0900-1900ish package car slot.

Heh, I’m not going to gain weight doing this, for sure. It’s really all about the money. I want to make the maximum dollar amount for the time I work, and at UPS, that seems to be feeders (well, unless you hold a commercial pilots license with instrument and multi engine ratings).

I'm finishing remodeling my bedroom during peak season. Ask me how smart I am.

Doesn't sound to bad of a task. Do a little every day. I caught a bit of grief for working this weekend from the gf as we didnt get much time together.
