    So rumor has it that Menards doesn’t pay detention... that’s it, I’m switching to Home Depot... lol :p

    Ok... I guess I’m shopping at Lowes

    but... for detention, does it matter if “they pay” detention or not??? Do we still get paid detention after 2 hours?

    Menards loads are a d/h generally. I only had one live unload, took 5 hours got paid for three in Plano IL once.

    You usually don’t get paid until FCC collects detention, sometimes depending on the customer it can be a few pay periods until the detention will hit.

    Live unloaded in St. Cloud, bounced down to the twin cities and live loaded a load going to Lincoln for a drop tomorrow. I will pick up a preloaded trailer at the same customer going out to Seattle.

    Currently sitting in Council Bluffs waiting to get my truck serviced in the morning. I was going to go up to Fremont, but the shop was over booked tonight, so Kenny said he could get me in first thing in the morning.

    Picked up a DnH load of carpet outside Dalton, GA... two stops... first one was a Live Unload and took five hours to complete... second one will be a DnH in the morning.

    So if a customer “doesn’t pay detention”, then we don’t get detention?
