One thing that is definitely benefiting me personally in my operation is the low cost of fuel. I don't know if anyone else tracks their cost of fuel percentages relative to their gross like I do on a monthly basis.
For instance, in October my fuel related costs which I include as diesel, DEF, OR road tax & IFTA contribution was 16.40% of total gross revenue. Which is not too shabby, I think.Dale thompson and Midwest Trucker Thank this. -
Gotta enjoy the low fuel costs coupled with solid rates. I've never seen it like that before now not for so long like it has been. The flip side of it every time fuel gets cheap and tanks like that it doesn't really bode well for future rates. Bank everything you can.

Went for my DOT physical today here in town. Never wore a mask, the other maskers (everyone there) were giving me the stink eye.
Doctor walks into the exam room, I say:
"Hi, I have a mask here in my pocket, would you like me to put it on?"
His reply:
"Nah, don't worry about it!" LOLMidwest Trucker, PPLC and Dale thompson Thank this. -
