Or you could just...
Midwest Trucker and Jenn72 Thank this. -
Make sure you do not set your brakes on a Cat Scale. It will screw with your axle weights. I have never been on one that wasn't level. Your truck should not roll with the brakes released.
SteveScott and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
I think it is important to watch out in regard to using this allowance once called in. As posted in comment 2 there are some states that DO NOT ALLOW this. Also, most states that allow this have it figured into their tolerance limits. Use this with extreme caution!

Just go trucking. You're good to axle and tire rating, which is more than likely 12350 at minimum.
D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
Roll on down the road driver.

@otterinthewater , one I love the forum name. And two. I live the pic you posted, I'll be narrowing that
@OP. Its been awnsered in a few posts.
But anyhow. If your on the inter-state max weight ok n a steer axle would be 20k, or max weight your steer tires are rated for. Which ever is lower.
Weight bonus for external APUs in my experiance range from 350 to 500lbs depending on the state. And will only help with weight on the drive axles. (Axles 2/3) to my understanding it won't help with your steers or gross. Though I could be wrong.
