yet another fine example of Driver Solutions sticking it to people.. I am SO glad i listened to the advice on here and didn't go there.

Anyhow.. Look around in the forums on here and find the companies that hire students.. You may end up sticking out your training there since you already started and finding a company that will hire you from that school. I can't find the lists right now, but use the search button up top and you should find what i'm talking about.. Good Luck and keep us posted!

being as that it's 5 years old he may have a chance as long as he's kept clean since then with no other problems. I'm not saying it's gonna be easy, but hell nothing is. Keep at it, you'll find something. Your best friend at this point is going to be the phone. Call the companies and see what they tell you.

the way things are right now. its going to be tough to find a job. Trucking companies have so many people wanting to drive. They can afford to be picky. try a small company. a dump truck, belly dump or end dump.

other than the reefer charge my record is spotless last speeding ticket was in 2002
also i passed my physical and got my 2 year card. also about the highest scoring student in my class..but ds said to try to apply for PAM. but all the guys ahead of me said they where even picker than usa.. ds told me if they wernt interested that i could go home free of charge and the instructors told me that i could have copys of my transcripts..but i dont wanna tell my wife and kids that im cominghome with no job..especialy as bad as things already are...the thing that pissed me off is there are guys in my class who have spent time in prisionas a juvy but that dont count agains them for some reason as usa hired them... but i know they wont mak it passed the orientation and road course.....so i guess talent aint a thing they look for in this industry any more

just keep trying. In my neck of the woods. I seen one ad where they say they will go case by case on things like this. I seen ads were they said 7 years of a clean recorded. I seen as low of 3 years. There companies out there. Just have to hit the street and find one. a year ago. you probably would have a job by now. The economy has made it hard for every one. good luck and don't give up.

There are other threads on o/o. It really depend on the owner. I met one with a new tractor. He said he doing ok. just hard to find an driver to run with. He said there a lot of pigs out there. if a o/o can find loads and willing to stay out. He should do ok.
