The Iron Skillet is closed down, but their deli is good. Its a go to as far as parking is concerned. Can always find a spot here no matter the hour.

Toss a few bucks in for me too... if it hits, I’ll let you keep your cut from the winnings.

No bueno! Back at the hotel for another night. Truck should be done later tonight, so hopefully I will roll out in the morning. Fingers crossed!

So I saw an interesting trailer today... looked completely normal except it had three axles in the back with the normal dual tires... and then two more axles in the middle with super singles... five axles on just the trailer and 16 tires... plus the normal tractor setup.

anyone seen such a setup before? I’ve seen interesting trailers out west and unique designs for special uses... but this was like in Ohio.

I assume it’s for heavy loads... do they get to roll heavy like the split axle setups have different per axle limits.

You’ll see a lot of those trailers in Ohio, Michigan and Indiana. Used for hauling super heavy loads, usually hauling coils and flat steel.

You’ll have this setup to thank next time you’re in Michigan, and wanna set the cruise and go back in the bunk and make a sandwich because the road is so grooved.

You left out about Velcro everything down or use bungee cords also because those roads will find everything.... loose thing in your truck . when I did it refers for six or seven years I ran that area a lot and every time I went through threw there when I had a Volvo truck it looked like popcorn popping inside that truck from those rough roads . The #### Dash was like snapped together plastic panels and those dam panels would go flying the cabinet doors in a sleeper Would fly open and #### with fall out . I would just sit there and keep driving just waiting for one of them panel to smack me upside the head

So I’m back in the hotel for night #3, as they were removing the radiator they broke a cooler line leading to the transmission. They’re having to have the part overnighted, if it arrives as scheduled I might get out of here tomorrow. Cautiously optimistic.
