I just enjoyed a sit down dinner in Oregon of prime rib (end cut) 2 beers, baked potato with all the fixins and a cup of clam chowder. On the 17th, their governor is shutting down again for 2 weeks. Restaurants open for take out only, bars closed. I hear New York is doing the same only worse. In California, his royal highness governor Newsome has told us no more than 10 people for Thanksgiving and all events must end in 2 hours. The turkey police will be out in force citing and arresting violators.

My waitress tonight was tearing up talking about the new Oregon shutdown because she didn't think she'd have enough to buy Christmas presents for her two young kids. I signed my credit card receipt and wrapped it around a crisp $100 bill. I'm a sucker for a mom down on her luck and I've known her for quite a while. She works her butt off and deserved it.

It does look like a pipe, but I believe it's an arrow quiver.

I wonder what Jersey is doing? Is the nation going to shut down again? Or just the coasts?

    That was a nice tip.

An unstrung bow, encompassing three arrows and a smoking pipe-hatchet, symbolizes history and tradition of the Choctaw Indians. Peaceable by nature, the Choctaws smoked their pipe-hatchets as they sat in deliberation around council files.

Right, so much for 12.7s being the million mile motor. Although this one did last 1.3 mil on the last overhaul. For some reason my last one and this one dropped liners at 825. Last one blew a head gasket at 540k also. Detroit gave me a new head and gasket. Cost me $1700 in labor. This overhaul was done right. All 6 counterbores were cut by a Detroit Factory engineer. New bull gear. It had never been changed. Only things I didn’t do were reman rockers. Mine were still good. They’re $2100, I might do them in the future, but I doubt it.

Not sure exactly what look the artist was going for, but it doesn't look like any hatchet pipe I've ever seen, and I own a couple of them from the 19th century. Traditional "peace pipes" were not hatchet pipes, but carved catlinite with a wooden stem.

My Great Grandmother was full blooded Choctaw. Great Grandfather was a US Marshall. Took her off the reservation and settled in Blytheville Ar. I often wonder if he just traded some whiskey guns or whatever, to get her. Lol. The Choctaw weren’t into warfare,

I got the fan cleaned up back in. Can’t find the 20 screws for door panel. Found everything else under the sun, but no screws. Get some tomorrow. Blew it with air. Should have worn a dust mask. No telling what all bacteria was growing in there. I used goo gone Orange citrus then Lysol multi purpose lemon. I should have pulled the heater core, while I had the hoses off. Wasn’t thinking. A garden hose to spray it with fan out would have been nice. Good enough for now. I’m going home, see what’s for dinner.
