Just picked up a Blue Parrot B-350-XT today from Best Buy, first use will be tomorrow at work.

 

But I want to miss a few words here and there.

Plausible Deniability

 

I was happy with the Blueparrot 450 until it died after just 2 years. They lost my business. Now I'm using Jabra ear buds. They have transparent sound so you can listen to books, podcasts, music, etc, and still hear warnings, alarms, sirens and such. Listening sound quality is just okay. People have no trouble hearing me and no complaints about truck noise. Looking at purchasing Sennheiser Momentum 2 ear buds when the holiday sales start. Also have transparent sound and great reviews for sound quality.

 

Found an aftershokz bone conduction with boom mic on amazon for 159.99 I'm thinking about trying out.

 

I just bought it last week. Mic Is awesome people have no trouble hearing me. But sometimes people are too quiet for me with the truck noise. I am returning it today for that reason.

 

I no longer drive. However, I use the Plantronics Backbeat headset paired with my Iphone7. Takes a while to get used to them, but once you do you will be amazed at just how good they are
They wrap around the back of your head and are waterproof. I almost always have music playing and the sound quality is fantastic. This unit is now over two years old and I still get 6 hours from a charge. I paid close to $80 for this unit.

 

Just got the Aftershokz OpenComm headset, and after a week best electronic purchase ive made lately.

The battery is insanely long lasting, I can use the headset for a week without charging, (but I dont listen to music only calls) and its also nice because I dont like anything in my ears and I can still hear my surroundings clearly. I can also wear a any hat like a hard hat, cowboy hat etc while wearing these.

I am posting this because while I wear this I have drivers asking me about them thought I would share my review after a solid week of use.

I also got mine for 140 on Amazon, unlike the 180 in the truck stops.

 

I returned it. Tried a few more parrots. A few Amazon off brands.

I hate defensive coordinator headsets. Especially out of the truck. So I picked the opencomm up again at bestbuy for $150 last week. Its louder now. Maybe mine was a bad unit from love's. Works great.

Blue parrot is releasing a smaller one on the 24th. M300XT. $99 Bluetooth 5.1. 80% noise canceling. 14hr battery. Looks like plantronics voyager legend.

 

I got it too. Ironically a lot of drivers at the yard saw it and asked questions. So when I left I saw 4 more wearing it. lol
