Welcome! Funny I say that on my way out huh?!? Oh well, I think I have made at least one life long friend on here. And I know 1bad has made a few. Anytime anyone is in Ft Worth there will be a hot southern meal waiting for you at our place. If we get the place we are looking at there will be a warm bed and plenty of room to park your rigs too! :biggrin_255:

Ok so I'm in a little bit of a pickle at this point.

Went to DMV today to see when I was going to get my permanent license in the mail. They told me that they never got my DL170 which is the form that says u passed ur drive test with central. But I took the paper there myself handed it to the lady behind the counter and she handed me my temp license. Now my question is if they didn't get the paper why do I have a temporary license? Idiots. So I called the DM and he said he can't put me under a load till this is resolved. My fear at this point is that they will take my nice new truck from me cause its sitting. Does anyone have some insite on this. I don't want to lose my truck cause DMV ##*+#! Up. Let me know stressed and depressed at this point. Thanks yall

I still had my temporary when I upgraded. In fact I had to get an extension on my temp license because DMV was running behind in issuing my permanent license. I don't remember my DM even being involved. I would get the occasional message from safety that my temp license was getting close to expiring. When I got the extension on my temporary I just faxed a copy to safety and they were happy until I got my permanent license.

This probably doesn't help if your DM won't give you a load.

Hello FRIENDS I am scheduled to start on 11-02-09 in Riverside and I was curious about my blood pressure so I had it checked out at my doctor where I get my DOT physical done at and it was 142/94 but I dont have high bp I check it regularly and the highest it gets is 132/80 wich is normal,so when I talked to my doctor he says I have "WHITE COAT SYNDROME".Does central work with you if it is a little elevated because of this? I am a little nervous! any input?

If no one knows what white coat syndrome is,it is where your blood pressure is only high when you are in a clinic like enviroment.this is a very common scenerio according to WebMd.com 1 in 10 adults have this!!!!!!

Welcome to Central friend! This kind of stupity will reign days with them. You are legal to drive on your temp if the paperwork has been filed. 1bad got his perm paperwork from the DVM in Utah to drive on til his was mailed to GA I had poss. of his for 3 weeks before he got home to get it. I would go back and demand that from them!

Wow that's why maybe mine is only high at the doctor's office. I have took many DOT physicals and never had any issues. I would have your doctor write something stating this just in case Central's doc has questions or concerns about it that why they can call your doctor to verify anything they may need to. And too that shows them you have been to your private doctor and they don't see any real issues. Always best to cover your steps. 1bad did that with his eyes b/c of his cornea transplant 7 years ago. Some question did come up about it I can't remember now what it was but he whip out his note from the eye doctor and everything was cleared up. And we are talking about a man that is considered legally blind! Even though with his contacts he is 20/40. Which is alot better than the 40/600 he was prior to his transplant. Just my advice they can be crappy when it comes to certain things just cover the cushion god gave ya if you know what I mean.

Off to fold some clothes be back shortly!

Thank you widow I will get a note because i have several weeks of logging my bp and it has never exceded 132/80 so my doc should be more than willing to help me out. and a plus my mom has been an employee for the office for about 8-9 years so I get many perks like going through the back door and only paying $20 for a complete DOT phys.

JJ is officially back in the Army!!

He has to do 6 months in the Reserve and then he will get the first position that opens up as a drill instructor or something else where they observe the guys and girls playing war games before they are deployed.

So he will have to be back here for drill one weekend a month starting in November, he is really excited about going back in and being home every night in his own bed........Well in six months time he will be!
