Just because you have a CDL doesn't mean you're good at it.

It does but it does because we don’t do any maintenance to the roads, expansion strips get pulled up and never get replaced, cracks never get sealed so water gets in and causes the problems. Then we have poor road repairs, just throw asphalt on top of cement without proper prepping the surface and it pulls up very fast.

We spend more money on schools to support a bloated ineffective education system then we do on the roads.

Have you ever been on i75 south coming into Toledo? The exact same trucks on Michigan roads and Ohio roads, with your eyes closed you can tell when you cross the state line. In Michigan I generally won’t go over 55 the last 20 miles of i75, cross into Ohio, back to full speed and pretty decent roads.

Sounds like California roads compared to Oregon.

I’ve pointed that out to many. Those heavy MI trains run to the port of Toledo daily and you’re right, you can tell with your eyes closed. One of my boys made a game of it when he was on the truck with me, called it his “butt sensor”. He still rides with me but gets red in the face when I mention his sensor now!

Still looking for an answer. How many bulls or fat cows can you stuff in to a 53' cattle trailer?

    Trucker61016 Thanks this.

No set number. I could put 50,000 lbs in a 50 ft. & have room for more but I would be around 83000 gross at that.
