Brokers must have gotten word about this thread @Dave_in_AZ. They ain't happy!!

 

I mean it's even going into such a hotbed of freight you'll do twice as good coming out....

I snorted some coffee reading the above. Someone is pissed at LS.

 

I also loved the English requirement. This broker has HAD IT with some of their callers.

 

That’s because LS won’t police what some of their agents are doing. They have so many worthless lazy scumbag agents anymore it’s not even funny.

 

I am still a bit shaky on my understanding of the way LS, DSV and some others do their brokering. Am I correct in assuming they are "leasing on" brokers the same way they lease on trucks? I thought the brokering would be an in-house thing, but apparently not. Not trying to derail the topic, just wanted a quick understanding. Apologies to the OP.

 

Several companies like LS have agents, basically like an O/O only instead of a truck they are a broker. Some even have their own brokerage, and/or are agents for other companies as well.
