They can have the truck, the load, or anything else that doesn't belong to me, I will help them load it on another truck if thats what they want...but when they threaten me or my stuff that I have worked hard for, well...we have a problem.

Excellent post josh...and howdy neighbor.josh.c Thanks this. -
I did get lucky because the officer didn't believe the gang banger BUT because there was also a "race" issue he just wrote it up as "pointing a gun" a simple assault charge. I paid about $800 in fines, $1000 for the lawyer and because I'm from Missouri they could only give me "self imposed probation" meaning Missouri didn't except misdemeanors from NC! That really PO'ed the DA, Gang banger and his boyfriends! It was almost worth the money to see those baggy pants losers get all upset in the courtroom!
And yes I was ready to use it! When the moron saw it coming up from the floor he couldn't get off the running board fast enough and haul arse! If he hadn't bailed he would have had it in his nose to match the rest of the piercings in his face!
Now I keep a large piano wire with a wooden handle in the truck! Not only will it hurt like heck but the "center of my attention" has no idea what just hit him and it just keeps on coming! Ever had a spanking from your parents and they went and got a thin tree branch? Same principle but can really screw up a face! And sting like crazy! Easy to make and there is no law about it that I've seen yet! Or just use a coat hangar! Or you could go look in an OLD Easyriders mag, I think about issue 15 or so and find the way to make a chain saw blade weapon and leather wallet holder! Even a bicycle chain works too! -

no time to read all posts this answer may have already been given..but anyway. There is no federal regulation that bans firearms from CMV's. However if you are an otr driver with CCW permit you had better check that every state you drive through honors the CCW from your state. If they dont and you get caught you could be charged with a felony. That would be a felony while operating a CMV......kiss your CDL goodbye!!
