I've worked for those companies in Chicago. That 2000 per week is untaxed money. Now if you were to take out your taxes, social security, and insurance out of that 2000, then the money left over is right in line with what the megas are paying. Do the math. You seem to think trucking is a "get rich quick" line of work. I'll tell you the truth. You ain't gonna get rich driving a truck. You can live comfortably. So you say the megas are robbing drivers.....maybe. The reality is, those 1099 companies you speak of, are robbing drivers just as much. Who knows how much longer those companies will be in existence any way. The misclassification of drivers is starting to get looked at closely and really starting to gain some steam. So my advise to you, OP, would be to calm your arrogance and get acquainted with how the industry works a little better.

Schneider was recently hiring for part time intermodal.
