Celadon - One Year Later...

Talking about stuck in the past.

 

Reading this story reminded me of the Arrow fiasco 10 years earlier.
Looking back at this mess and knowing it can happen again, I'd hope everyone has access to a couple hundred bucks cash, to put fuel in a unit to get home.

 

I fail to see the logic of people that the day the job goes away they are stumbling around a bus station too broke to get home. Then a year later they are mad because that crap job was taken away from them. SMH

 

unlike arrow they didn't just turn off the phones and walk out leaving drivers..

They got everyone back to the terminals.... gave them bus tickets home and PAID THEM

 

Not according to the story above.

 

My company bought at least one of their trailers, I’ve pulled it twice. I always feel a pang when I see it.

 

All the drivers were paid... it was in the court filling....

The fuel cards were turned back on so the drivers could fuel and finish the load they had and get back..

They were all told that IF they finished the load they had and returned the truck they would get a bus ticket home...

It was all over the news in INDY for a week....

 

Yea, I had heard they had new financing and every thing had been set right with the banks, they had a bunch of new equip. Then bang, everything was in the toilet again.

 

Wasn't there a lady on here that was driving for them at the time......
