If I’m not mistaken, Flexeril is a non narcotic. It’s not very powerful. Worked for me once for a sore back, along with a heating pad. Later only Valium would work, the spasms were so bad, eventually had surgery. No meds needed since. Depression meds. aren’t a problem. Physiology changes, you may not need the meds for the rest of your life. Despite what Doctors say. Always good to keep getting more opinions. Physical Therapy can really help a lot of minor and chronic issues. Learning what works the best, along with proper nutrition really helps. 500 mg calcium/250 magnesium taken daily helps relax muscles. Along with high B complex vitamins, both keeps nerves calm, and proper amino acid supplements help muscle cells. A book called the vitamin bible, is full of good information, No need to go crazy with vitamins, but learning the effects, won’t hurt.I don’t take any of it anymore, just a multi vitamin. But they seem to really work at keeping everything in balance. Every little bit helps.Avoid excessive alcohol. A little bit at night if any, best avoided if possible.
