Since you have no trouble being a smart donkey. There is nothing wrong with a 8,9,10 speed. Simple, cheap fleet mentality really. Meat in the seat struggle to shift them and destroy parts. Hence why autos are becoming popular. But to date, no auto is efficient as a properly driven manual. A 13 or 18 is not about testosterone, but operating a engine in the most economical rpm for the power and rpm demand. This takes skill. Lets face it most Co. drivers put more effort into fuel points than cleanly operating equipment. Glad it works for you, a 10 speed is useless based on economical points for me.
