Once again, paying 12% for someone to handle the dispatching, paperwork, billing, etc, isn't too bad even if the operator is paying for all other costs. So long as the carrier is providing decent averages and volume.

This is a very usual setup around here. Usually companies charge only 10% though, my rate is a little higher -
The company processes the invoices, collections, disbursements, IFTA, road tax, etc. But it's coming out of their disbursements.
Believe me, the rates those guys are getting isn't that great either. So, they remain on the grinding wheel and make it up on volume.

Man, over the years, I've seen so many different ways these companies structure their lease op programs, it's enough to make your head spin LOL

I heard a local car dealer commercial yesterday. The guy was saying that even if you were upside down in a current car loan up to $8,000, if he couldn't get you out of it and into a new car, he'd pay you $2,000! LOL
