Hey @Rideandrepair
I have a question for you.
How do tanks equalize?
I see both my Feeds and my returns and the vent lines but don’t see any other lines.
Can you Enlighten me?
What if it Snows?

My dad used to drink Miller High Life when I was a kid.
I remember buying a 12 pack down in the ghetto for 6 bucks when I was 16.
So pay forward 40 years and I was drinking Michelob Light my beer of choice for 40 years.
Dad always had Heineken in the frig and would Rip into me drinking my Krappy beer.
Michelob changed their bottle and raised their prices and subsequently Fell from Grace from me
Back to Cheap Miller High Life for me.
But I created this Downfall because my dad got turned back onto Miller High Life for the bargain that it was and there was never another Heineken in the house again unless I brought them.Vic Firth, LoSt_AgAiN, Rideandrepair and 4 others Thank this. -
Kinda of like Sea passages. If you clear the pier heads and it gets Ugly quick coming back through them can can get Uglier on an outgoing tide.

Yes....and no actually. Yes to the "nautical miles" since the distance is measured on a map not surface distance, so as in the distance figured if you were flyinga plane.
Only the dogs out here are using knots......[wonder how many will need that explained to them?]LoSt_AgAiN, JolliRoger, Rideandrepair and 8 others Thank this. -
I used to run on AG being I hauled raw milk.
I understood it to be a 150 air miles as the Crow flies.
If it is truly Air miles hence knots than technically you could run 172.5 milesVic Firth, LoSt_AgAiN, Rideandrepair and 6 others Thank this. -
It'sthe old tie the string to the pin, measure the length for 150 miles fromthe legend (one inch = xxx miles] then use the pin at the starting point, draw a line the full circle and you know how far you can go using the 150 mile radius. Sparks Petro to junction of I-80 / I-5 is 124 miles (ground miles)...nautical miles it is 120.5...a local, non-log truck from either start point can run Reno-Sac-Reno without a log under the radius rule as long as it is one way loaded, cannot return with a load...that would put him in interstate rules requiring a log.tommymonza, LoSt_AgAiN, Rideandrepair and 5 others Thank this.

Knot is a unit of speed, not distance....one knot (kn) is 1.157 miles per hour.D.Tibbitt, MACK E-6, LoSt_AgAiN and 6 others Thank this.

I know if a vent line gets plugged the tanks won't equalize. You probably knew that thoughLoSt_AgAiN, Rideandrepair, stuckinthemud and 4 others Thank this.
