    I have been using a 40th anniversary edition Turner RK-56 with the skinny cord for about 11 years or so and am still pretty happy with it. We had to replace the switch in it around 2 years ago.

    Yes they work real nice,more people should try them.
    The look and feel of an RK/56 with better clarity,yet not excessive like the
    AssStatic line.

    I might have to order one, seems like my RK-56 is petering out a bit. It's about 7 yrs old and has been pretty good. Never had an Astatic, debating on an Astatic and a Skythumper. Leaning more to the Sky!!! Skythumper should work well on my Magnum S-3?????

    I use the Skythumper st 65 dx and love it. Looks and feels just like and RK56 but better sound quality and louder.

    Skythumper should sound great on that S3.

    I use an RK56 that I've had for about 20 years...It's been through a couple of cords and a switch but it still works great!
