It gets nasty, it it’s a lot shorter than highway 26, and half the traffic.

Agreed... yikes... but all that snow does make for some pretty scenery for sure.

stay safe everyone... drive smart, which also means to know when to shut it down too.

The down part doesn’t worry me, it’s the up part. I just didn’t want to break traction and have to come to a stop. Then I’d have to chain just to get to the top. Thank goodness they know how to work that stretch of road. All the curves had plenty of sand.

Double check to see if you have an actual appointment time. I was there a couple weeks ago, and my load assignment gave me a pick-up window of noon to 7 pm. But they are appointment only, and my appointment was at 7 p.m. So I got there at noon for nothing.

They had me done by 10 and they let me sleep on their lot, so it went a lot better than the last time I was there.

Unload at PFG in New Windsor, MD tomorrow. Should be fun with that snow storm that is supposed to hit. Anyone here been there before and can tell me if Md97 to Md140 to Md31 is best route or if they allow trucks at all that way to PFG? Thanks in advance. GPS throwing fit due to restricted routes going there.
