Anyone have recent experience driving reefers for these guys? They're advertising their own CDL training for noobs to drive regional in AZ. Looks like they are out of Dallas so would have to travel there for the school.

Is refrig vs box trailer more stressful in general, b/c of the stricter deadlines?

The school in Dallas was good. Wasn't stressful. After that you go out for 240 hours with trainers. Before getting your own truck.

Well I am currently with a trainer. We run about 19 hours a day. On average you can easily get 450-500 miles a day. Running all over the country. Stevens is pretty much all reefer. But you can haul the occasional dry load in the reefer.

Over the mountains, through the woods, into the valleys, coast to coast, from sea to shining sea - truck drivers can and do go anywhere and everywhere, every day, all year round.

Is your trainers truck a manual transmission? If so, how many speeds are there?
