There is a federal law that i have seen states that no one can transport or be in possesion of a fire arm in a commerical with a gvwr over 15001 unless you are a private carrier and are allowed buy states law to do so or a carrier under a goverment contract that requires an armed escort. i love my guns and i believe you you can carry your gun a 1000 times and never need it but the 1 time you do need it ????. i keep up on gun laws every chance i get you can look on usacarry.com and look at what states you ccp is accepted in

I hope you have as great of a time as I have! Done with the test and school, learned a lot and know just have orientation left before getting out with a trainer. Just wanted to say regardless of what some may say, Central has done somethings this last two weeks that have gained a lot of respect from all in our class. They have handled most situations very professionally and with respect towards the students and employees, I would recommend this school to anyone that can pick things up fast. It is a very accelerated program and a lot of guys with potential didn't make the cut! But with that being said It is not that hard or impossible, the instructors are all very good at getting you ready.
Best of luck to you and everyone else coming in, you will get out of it what you put in. -
OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OUCH THAT HURT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did u have any clue on truck driving what so ever?? I ask this cause I have no experience and I'm about to go to West valley here soon to take the course. Any reccomendations??...lol

I'd prefer UT myself so I can get some mountain miles and maybe some slick/wet ones at that. MOUNTAIN MILES! Just to head off the obvious comments. lol
It'd be colder, sure, and Atlanta would probably be warmer, but really, I'd rather get some up and down before I'm otr with the trainer.
Flight would cost the same to either one! lol $119 one-way on Saturdays.Last edited: Oct 25, 2009

imo the dorm rooms are better in ga than wvc.
2wks is nothing and there is ashuttle totake ya to wally world. I'd rather
go to wvc if I had the choice. But don't let anyone scare you away from ga if it gets you closer to your goal. Cdl
you learn more with your trainer than class. School is just to get you a cdl and your trainer teaches you to do the job. Back to sleep for me. Had to turn my bunk heater on. Kinda cold in the truck this morning. Burrrr___realgonekatt Thanks this.
