    Hope everyone here in #5 had a nice Christmas.

    Was just the wife, daughter, and I this year so it was uneventful and quiet. Not what I'm used to... On one hand it was nice not having to entertain any guests, but on the other hand it felt kind of empty in the house. My daughter is 18 so she of course doesn't have the same bright eyes and excitement she used to have.

    Wife made a nice little dinner for us, with one thing I didn't expect to like. A bacon/cheese/brussels sprout casserole, which I'd eat again in a heartbeat. Had to congratulate her on finding a way to get me to eat the darn things and go back for more.

    Anyway,

    Hope the next week comes with plenty of downtime and relaxation for those who are prone to like such things. Or, if you are some kind of psychopath who likes to work too much I hope you find happiness in that as well.
