Well it happened again. I didn’t see it happen I rolled in right after it did. Apparently while dumping salt at MODOT in KCMO this driver blew a super single while dumping. He’s alright he was just shaken up.

Salt has been the name of the game this week. And with 1/4 inch of ice and 5-7 inches of snow forecasted for Friday, it probably will be for awhile.

As usual great picture @Trashtrucker1707 ill do
My best to keep the frozen stuff up here! Congrats on the prosperous year, that’s great!

Ugh, not a scene you want to roll up on. Why didn't the trailer break away? I've never been a fan of super singles on a frameless, we have a few here and they make me nervous for that exact reason.

That little Banner Maker is neat, is it a App or something that I'm not aware of that exists in my Phone?

I’m not sure either why that didn’t happen. Apparently that’s what is being reviewed. Rumor is the boss wasn’t too happy that the trailer didn’t break away, or the engaging tilt kill switch didn’t engage on the engine and didn’t stop running.

It may be something that’s able to be done on phone, honestly I’m not very proficient on technology. I just Google Imaged “ballast” and that’s what came up

That's why I'd rather not run super singles. When i pulled end dump we had enough to worry about in some of the crap places we went just getting level. I never lost a trailer but I've been close an a super single is an unnecessary added risk.

Yea dude super singles are the worst. We had em for one round of trailers and now they’re getting all phased out and replaced and new duals are coming in. On our short tri axles it’s bad enough, but throw a 40 footer in the air in Mason City and try to pull an automatic away from the clay pile and they like to dance. I’ll be glad when they are 100% gone.

Another highlight to the end of the year, the vehicle we ordered 3 weeks ago arrived, 2021 kia telluride nightfall edition. DD1510B8-F53F-437B-B39F-26BA853CC515.jpeg 5A591CBE-14AA-400A-B3A9-A53176DD41F6.png

Dude! My chick was tellin me about these the other day and how nice the interior is. She has a Kia SOUL and had it in for some maintenance and was cruising the dealer lot while she was waiting. She’s in love already with them so I don’t dare show her these pics and re light that fire. That’s a sharp whip man, congrats. Just to be nosy did you have to order it because they are in high demand, or for the specifications you wanted?
