So you chose to try and be a better person, but question decision because when shown others kindness they spit it back in your face instead of showing gratitude and understanding; how could anyone hope to better themselves if there are no one among us to lead as examples? How could the guy who cut in front of you ever see the error in his ways and be just when shown further injustice to match his own? The road less traveled is hardly ever as smooth as the one that is; a better tomorrow is never achieved if no one is brave and strong enough in conviction to make it so.
I think you of all people already know this!

But c'mon man, it's just a small thing, right? What's the big deal? Who cares anyways?
When you have billions of people breaking societal rules, trillions of little violations every day, you get chaos.
Just look at the highways for a clear example. People routinely run a little over the speed limit, roll through stop signs, pass in no passing zones, speed through construction, cut each other off, tailgate, etc...
Now when a traffic cop actually stops someone, a lot of people no longer say, "Yeah, I was speeding, ya got me." No, now it's, "Why are you hassling me? Why am I different from everyone else that was doing the same thing?"
There's only so much chaos the human mind can take, before it will demand order. When that point is reached, it will set out to restore order, by any means it deems necessary.
When a society no longer maintains order, but instead cultivates chaos, it should be no surprise that it's streets are filled with violence.2CAN, singlescrewshaker, cke and 19 others Thank this. -
