Actually, I couldn’t give a Fup about why Karen is Karen. I was trying to figure out why, out of all people who are standing in line in a store, she chose to break in front of me. And her doofus husband actually obeyed.

It’s a predator vs prey thing. In my mind, I did something that said to them that I was easy prey.

Grandson took a few days refreshing the safe use of a chainsaw....let him tackle a little job on his own,just staying close ... just in case...

 

That would of been an act of kindness. Big difference from using false kindness in an attempt at revenge.

 

Karens, I believe, are developed from years of getting their own way. They're used to being able to get what they want by throwing a tantrum. It worked with their parents, probably their teachers, now their employers. Then they meet someone who tells them no, they throw a fit, it doesn't work, and their world collapses.

 

Fits perfectly here.

 

More than likely, you were just the most conveniently located for them. For these people, it's never about anything except their own convenience. That's why they are appalled to have anyone tell them the world isn't here to serve their wishes.
