What problem you are diagnosing? -
Model truck... an Aero vs. Shoe Box will also have slightly different effects on MPG.
Just wondering... because when I asked about the C-15 Bridge many replied with poor numbers. But like it is mentioned above... there are fixes. And since there is not a lot of Detroit info out there thought I would just ask.

It really sucks to post such a obvious things, but you all need to fn learn something abut mpg as it gets really annoying to hear all this widespread BS about mpg.
Huge factor is WEIGHT you are pulling.
Another factor is TERRAIN. Flat? Mountains? City Traffic? High altitude?
Then there is a SPEED - a big one, but only when driving fast, over 60 mph lets say
Without considering those (plus many other factors) discussion about "universal" mpg numbers is pointless, time wasting, air polluting activity
Get it? -
Weight I pull a reefer so I run between 75 -80 thousand at all times my deadhead is less than 15% on avg
Terrain I run southeast, midwest, and ne up to pa,nj,upstate nyc
Speed I run from 0 to 80??? I cruise a t 72 though.
Oh and I run 22.5 lo's you forgot one that affects fuel ol wiseone..
He asked for ball park numbers he didnt want to know what he was gonna get exactly. If you cant produce any decent help how bout move on -
I didn't forget about tire size, its completely irrelevant comparing to the big factors -
When my trailer went in for repairs I had to tow a 4 axle trailer on large super singles tires this made my fuel jump from 1.8 kpl to 1.95 kpl doing the same road and same weight so I would say tire size will have a lot to do with it.
If the trailer wasn't so ugly I would look at buying one -
You are talking 8.5 % difference. I don't believe you can really measure that without lab conditions. I'm not sayin there is/was no difference, sure it makes difference.
But maybe 3% was method error, 1% was tires and 4% was you? How do you know what was causing what? -
57???? that put me to sleep just reading that!!!!
Tires have got to make a difference if not there would only be 1 style deep lugs. Not a hwy tread, no super singles and such.
I'm not a single fan but the say there is a big difference. Maybe I tosted it wrong I shouldve put tire size and tread.
Ask anybody that know there is a noticeable diff in a brand new bridgestone lug and a straight tread hwy tire
Oh and how dare you stick you tounge out at me -
and what is a KR TRUCKER??? did I miss something??
