conditional rating

    my company will have a conditional rating in the next few days , what are the risk on this if we dont fix it

    If the DOT likes the response plan AND find your company DID do it it will change to SAT.

    ignore it and it will turn to Un-SAT driving the remaining customers away and insurance costs through the roof...That's insurance based on returning to compliance and it's gonna cost huge!

    A company I worked for had a conditional rating. It took 2 years to clear it. The insurance was astronomical, a lot of carriers would not let us haul their freight and we paid a $10,000.00 fine. I spent months putting together a SMP (Safety Mgt Plan) and other gap stops that I still adhere to. And once I filed for getting the conditional rating removed, it took MONTHS to get it heard.
