My cascadia came with a power inverter already installed (1200w)
I can only use it for 2hr then it needs to wait 8hr to be able to use it again,
Thats why i bought a new 2000w inverter
    I want to know
If it is only a swap of cables to the new one?
And can i do it without a kill switch because my truck dont have one?

Depends on the cables already installed. 1/0 AWG battery cables should be used on power inverters rated up to 3500 watts.

Honestly the reason the Big companies put timing circuits on those inverters is because it costs them less to pay for the timer than to pay for your dead batteries, jump start, missed delivery etc.
The battery banks in these trucks are optimized for CCA to start the truck NOT deep cycle amp storage.
Might want to read up on how much amps/watts you plan to use and for how long before you end up cold and embarrassed in a lot in Fargo calling your company...

    Even solar needs storage batteries.
I use a little generator from harbor freight unless it's a 15 minute quick cooking job off my batteries.
I keep the engine running if I'm using the inverter. And I have a personal mpg goal for this truck. Idling kills me. I was at 7.1 until winter cold. Now 6.7

I always idle the truck when you use an inverter....Hooray for 6000 watt sine inverters =)

Solar has nothing to do with this, nor would it help.

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

If you don't understand that unhooking any post of any battery is itself a kill switch then you don't need to fool with this. Have someone do it for you.

LMAO....no, I just saw a good deal on Amazon and went for it.
Figured better to have enough and not need it than not enough and need it....
