Hey I'm retiring within 8-months and I have researched many trucking companies and attended the Mid America Truck Expo back in Feb to research on my future career. I have been leaning toward Knight Because of their Squire program. Can you tell me more about it as an employee. Especially if you went through thier Squire program.

I can name that tune in...1 note!
NO!!!
Dont just take my word for it. There are ALOT of other drivers who have posted there experiences with Knight on here.jtrnr1951 Thanks this. -
Hi Scott,
Knight does hire CDL grads but only through their Squire division. The entire division and their 60 trucks are focused on safety and training. They have their own dispatchers and safety officers that are very hands on with their new drivers. After three to four months with Squire you are promoted to Knight. I've just started the program and am impressed so far. You can apply through the Squire link at the bottom of the Knight home page.

Marty,
I am one week into the Squire program and as a 50 year old career change candidate I am very impressed with the thoroughness and professionalism that I have experienced at their Indianapolis terminal. I am part of a class of six and we are all within 5 years of your age. I will keep you posted.

I'm thinking about going with Knight Transportation once I've finished school. Any comments (good and bad) would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!
-
Will they take students ??? You might call and chat with them. Good Luck..
JustSonny Thanks this. -
I've been reading some older posts looking for as much info (good or bad) about Knight Transportation. I'm leaning more and more toward asking them to take me on once I finish school.
I really would like some input from current Knight drivers. Just tell me the good, I'll find out the bad on my own.
