Looks like a much better result this time, luckily we don’t haul much of that, I have in the past and I dealt with the same result. I’m not a big fan of the physical labor involved in shoveling out material :)

Nothing new to report here gang. Bagged trailers and compost compost compost. The round has been compost out of KCMO to Pacific Junction IA and then over to Des Moines for rock back to our yard or heavy metal to Sedalia for the next day. I asked the loader today what the order was for in Pacific Junction. He said “8,000 yards. Thursday we’ll be at 3,500” Gonna be touring Iowa for awhile. Could be worse. Least it’s not tire wire!

I’m sitting in Anniston AL tonight, supposed to be a chilly one, down to about 27 by morning. Continuing to be a busy start to the year, really could use some vacation but it’s hard to get motivated, and spend the money, to try and relax somewhere with a mask on your face wherever you travel.

I’ve been to Anniston. I picked up chicken meal there one time. Took like 5 hours. But we are busy too man. That’s great. Me and the chick are actually sitting down just getting vacation ideas for this summer and that’s what we were saying also. Wonder what this summer will bring with all this going on. We looking at Kings Island in Ohio. We have 2 girls 10 & 11 so I think that would be right up their alley. How’s the new car @Trashtrucker1707 ?

Guess it’s just me and you @motocross25 in here anymore. I had another extremely busy week, set the brakes with 3 hours left on my 70 last night. Left out Sunday and went to Pensacola, up to Montgomery on Monday and delivered in Jax on Tuesday, went across town and loaded for anniston, delivered that Wednesday morning. It got mighty cold, the load stuck a little in the nose but not too bad, went back down to Montgomery and headed for ormond beach, dropped that Thursday morning then loaded scrap out of cocoa and went back to Pensacola for Friday morning, dropped that and then back up to Montgomery for my monday preload to Ocala. Made it home about 830 last night, at least I get two full days off this weekend so that is a big plus. Safe travels, hope @NightWind is doing well, haven’t seen her in a while, and the same to @tndriver

Man you had a busy week. Mine wasn’t too bad either compost the first part of the week and then KC got some snow so just ran some salt around town. This upcoming week we are running scrap from Wichita to Norfolk, NE so it’s my turn for the dreaded Sunday evening leave out. I preloaded rail crop Friday afternoon in KC and I hafta be there first thing Monday morning. So I figured heck with it. The chick is having her friends over Sunday afternoon for the chiefs game so it’ll get me away from that. If there’s on thing I dislike more than watching football, it’s watching it with a house full of drunk ladies. On a side note, Friday was my birthday and my gf made us reservations at a pretty upscale steak house down town. I told my boss I’d like to be off around 3 and I was in my car and headed home at 2:30. That’s one of the many things I like about my company. If you need off early or want a few days off, they have no problem with you taking them or making it happen.

I hear ya on the distain for football, I was pretty excited with the way the steelers started the season but then that all went to heck. Anyway, supercross kicks off tonight in Houston, 6PM eastern time on NBCSports, I'm looking forward to that, track looks a little blah but I'll be interested to see how everyone stacks up, hoping Malcolm Stewart has a good showing on the Yamaha this year, and I'd like to see Barcia put together a good season on the GasGas.

Do any of you guys know any companies pulling bucket that are elog exempt OTR ? I'm starting to look around a little and would like to stay away from elogs. I did a short stint with JK Williams a few years ago, great company, nice people, but the elog ruined it.

I'm in the southern tier of upstate New York BTW.
