I'd like to know more about this company as well. I guess it's hauling cryo, home daily? Almost zero info about this company on TTR.

They are what use to be Linde. Messer acquired the majority of linde's cryo business after they merged with praxair. For the most part should be all day cab local work with occasional layovers and teams running the longer stuff.

If you want to get into cryo in houston try Air Products or Praxair. Messer in Baytown isnt worth your time!!!

I looked at both of those companies but all of the job postings I've seen for each indicate they require 2+ years of experience and I only have one.

Curious why you say that about Messer?

LINDE will take you with 1 yr. But its up to the Terminal manager.

As far a messer goes the are a mess in Houston. Maintenance, poor management practices, lack of work are just a few reasons I said don't waste your time.

There's only 2 companies to go for if you want to be a company driver in cryo in the Houston area.

Air Products because they don't have driver facing cameras (for now) and the aren't into screwing with the driver over petty things.

Praxair (the new Linde) they have the largest workload in houston. And you can make decent money if you can keep the phone away from yourself.

As it is said among several drivers at Messer the company is good at training people to go somewhere else in the industry.

Ex Messer driver here- I agree with everything in this post. I'll add in toxic management practices, out of date policy toward their drivers, and penny pinching as far as repairs on equipment. Do yourself a favor- go elsewhere or stay at your current job for another year to get the 2 years experience other carriers desire.
